Mckenzie course begins with Part A- Lumbar spine, Part B - Cervical & dorsal Spine, Part C & D which are advance courses, Part E - Extremities, & the exams for which the E levels are not counted. After exams, one is allowed to write certified MDT along with the professional qualifications. Normally each level has to be done with an interval of 3 to 6 months in between. With a view to starting a branch in India, Mumbai has hosted very successful A & B course in April and November 2008, with 103 course participants. First online Mckenzie study group constituted in India after that, on Robin Mckenzie's birthday.
